89X is growing again! WLNX has just entered an agreement to join the iHeartRadio digital platform. We're only the 24th college station to be added to the College Radio lineup! Look for the channel to be launched later this month. You'll be able to listen to 89X on your Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Android, BlackBerry, and even Xbox 360 console!
To provide a training ground for students interested in pursuing a career in radio broadcasting. WLNX does this by operating in the identical manner of most commercial radio stations, giving students a unique opportunity to learn the “real world” side of radio broadcasting.
